We are particularly inspired by the woven fabrics of the Naga hill tribes and the embroidery of the Hmong. We work with artisan friends and incorporate their work into our ethnic fashion. How does virblatt combine ethnic fashion with modern designs?

Hemp was being processed into fabric and rope hundreds of years ago. The Hmong also use hemp traditionally in their ethnic fashion. The fabrics are usually dyed naturally in the familiar indigo blue. After the hemp has been harvested and processed into yarn, it is woven by hand on a simple wooden loom. We also use this impressive and often underestimated material in our hemp clothing – for shoes, bags, and backpacks, for example.
